Me too. Now that Hiten has answered so many of my questions, I am debating how to share that with everyone. Maybe just a post. Robbin

Robbin,

Just a quick note to say that I think your blog is great. We too use Crazy Egg and GA, though I've yet to figure out if Crazy Egg is anything but a prettier version of GA's site overlay. Your post answered that question perfectly for me.

And I just wanted to encourage you to keep up the ultra-useful posts -- particularly the RegEx stuff!

Hi Robbin,
First of all, Thanks for reviewing Crazy Egg. At the current moment we are not planning on changing our focus of being a testing solution, there is a vision we have in mind that will be clearly realized over time. That being said, if there really is a lot of interest in a very visual web analytics package that does what Crazy Egg does, we do not mind catering to users requests when it makes sense for us. We are lacking in terms of a FAQ / Help section, and have no excuses except that we are a relatively small team focused on first and foremost making Crazy Egg work with all the web technologies people are using on their websites, which is not an easy undertaking. In the very near future, we plan on creating a wiki for our help section, similar to what the smart folks at Meebo have done so that it is easy for us as well as users of Crazy Egg to keep this section up to date. Thanks again for taking the time to review Crazy Egg during our first month. We still have a long road ahead of us :-)
