Congrats Shareen! I will miss our frequent phone conversations. Check out the movie I just helped make (and I made the website too)

But, really, who ever listens to their parents?

Well technically you did. eg: You quoted them. You simply chose to ignore their advice. ;-)

But congrats all the same and good luck for the future. Small companies are far more challenging, enjoyable and IMHO *fun* places to work than the big multi-nationals.

Re the phone call? Had a similar one myself some years ago now:
"Hi Steve, we've got this job that we think you'd be great for... blah blah... description... etc."
Urm Tell me. Is that working for So-and-so at Such-n-Such?
"Ah. Yes. Yes it is. How'd you know?"
Well I helped write that job spec. and yes I would be great for the role: I'll be mentoring the person who gets it. :-)

Cheers!
