I tried this version and it still won't "paste" the goals, using FF3.0.1 on a Mac

Here is a version that works with the *Different* HTML (GA International version)

http://blog.iih.dk/goal-copy-extension-international/

As far as I can tell there is two different versions of GA right now. One US version and one international version, and changing the language settings don’t make a difference. Can somebody verify this?

Even with
and
tags my examples show up as actual boxes. Here it is again:

Standard HTML

input type="text" name="ucgo_step7_path" size="30" value=''>

Alternate HTML

input type="text" name="step.7.name" size="20">

The problem seems to be that when FF3 requests those pages from the server, Google actually serves up *Different* HTML.

The tag names that I’m using to reference form fields, etc are different, so the extension can’t find them.

Here’s one example:

*Standard HTML that I see:

*Alternate HTML that Daniel sees:

I suspect that it is a localization issue, but I've not been able to confirm this.

One thing that may work is to install FF2 Portable, and use the extension from there. I don't know if that will pull the same HTML from Google servers though. . .

I don't really have the time to rewrite it, and testing would be painful since I haven't been able to pull the alternate HTML. AND, how many alternates are there?? Who knows.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hi John,

I just saw that the extension is not working for the funnels in FF 3, it copies only the goals...

Can it be possible?

Thanks.
