It's really not that hard to install Google Analytics on your site. You can do it yourself. But are your analytics working for you? Are they giving you insight into where your customers are succeeding (and where they are failing?) Are they helping you spend your marketing dollars more effectively? After all, that's what analytics are for -- to help you improve your marketing and sales efforts, and to help you better meet your customers' needs. And because we are a Google Analytics Authorized Consultant, we go to the Googleplex to be trained by the Google Analytics team periodically -- so we're in a better position to help you with your Google Analytics.

Analysis

With Google Analytics on your site, we'll create actionable insight. We'll help you answer questions like:

  • Which of your marketing initiatives are most effective? Where should you increase/decrease your marketing spend?
  • How much is a lead worth to your site, and therefore, how much should you pay for advertising?
  • What are the characteristics of visitors who are likely to turn into customers (and how do you get more visitors like that?)
  • Where and why are people leaving without taking action?
  • Which paths through your site are the most likely to end in a sale, and how can you persuade more visitors to move into those paths?

Configuration

In addition to analyzing your site, we'll also configure your analytics for technical success. We'll set you up, create the Regular Expressions that define your success events, set up your default pages and tell Google to ignore unimportant query string variables. We'll take you out of your own analytics, configure your third party shopping cart for Google Analytics, and write the on-click events to let you know when customers are downloading that crucial .pdf.

Education

Here at LunaMetrics, we love to teach. (Honest.) If you want to be involved in your analytics analysis, that's just great -- customers who are involved always get more out of their consultants than "hands off" customers. We'll teach you how to read your own Google Analytics, because then you'll be a success story we can brag about (even if we can't brag about you by name.)
